Understanding what drives human performance enables leaders to develop themselves into effective agents for change -and help others achieve their full potential. This is how organizations can stem the dysfunction that robs society of economic sustainability and basic human joy.<\/p>\n

Human performance is a measure of accomplishment. And accomplishment is a product of competence. The only way to drive meaningful, significant, and forward-advancing accomplishments is to make it necessary and possible to raise the functional competence of people in the world.<\/p>\n

Competence is developed by connecting a sense of real purpose with the means to develop and apply the knowledge, skill, talent, and experience needed to perform in our chosen roles in life.<\/p>\n

Happiness is the result of the moments of overwhelming joy<\/em> or MoJo that is the deep sense of satisfaction we experience in the meaningful things we accomplish. When we make it necessary and possible for people to find MoJo in their lives \u2013 we elevate the human spirit and raise the economic, social, and cultural condition of society.<\/p>\n
