We have a block of rooms and reserved the Wine Cellar for a Spectacular Curated Wine-Paired Dining Event! The program Thursday will include an awards presentation for our Founding Members, an enjoyable and thought-provoking learning program, and a guided tour of one of the most renowned wine cellars & collections on the East Coast \u2013 followed by dinner in the wine cellar, and an evening social event. We have also reserved Tee Times for Friday morning at the Crystal Springs Course \u2013 offering up a great opportunity to bond with and challenge your fellow Cohort members. Or, relax at their world-class spa -and the myriad recreational opportunities!<\/p>\n

18 Holes at Crystal Springs Golf Course (Up to 3-Foursomes – 12 Tee Times)<\/p>\n

Event Fee<\/u>: Approximately $200\/guest (based on 24 paid members\/guests)<\/p>\n

Dinner \/Wine\/Cocktails \u2013 A-La Cart from Menu (not included in program fee)<\/p>\n

Room Rate $349 (group rate for a minimum of 8 rooms.)<\/p>\n

Golf Fees \u2013 approximately $115\/golfer (preregistration required)<\/p>\n

Room commitments and a program deposit of $200 per attendee must be to Sue Caporale no later than Friday, May 20thth<\/sup>. Room deposits will be made directly to the resort. Deposits are non-refundable. Invited guests welcome as space permits.<\/u><\/p>\n

Sharpen your ability to inform better decisions \u2013 while enjoying a visual and gastronomical tour and enjoy an exclusive, taste-defying dining experience in one of the most renowned wine cellars.<\/p>\n

We will demystify the scourge of groupthink (pretentious wine snobbery), discerning value, understanding the bias that propagates popular myths – and find joy in what you ultimately accomplish driven by the decisions you make in the exquisitely curated tour, tasting, and dinner.<\/p>\n

Dining is available for a maximum of 24 Members and Guests<\/p>\n

Our Expert and Program Leader<\/em><\/p>\n

Susanne Wagner<\/strong>, Wine Director for Restaurant Latour at Crystal Springs, with more than 30 years of a strong professional background in the hotel and restaurant industries. She received her initial training at the Hotel Management School in Bad Reichenhall, Germany (her native country), followed by a 3 year apprenticeship. Susanne departed Germany to excel in various sommelier and restaurant positions throughout Europe. She came to the U.S. in 1992 and held supervisory roles with Sheraton hotels for 7 years.<\/p>\n

Her arrival at Crystal Springs in 2002 sparked a strong interest in wines, as one of her initial positions at the Resort was to help create and build the Wine Cellar. Susanne studied at the International Wine Cellar in Manhattan, completed additional wine coursework, and graduated with an advanced certification. She was instrumental in the launching of Restaurant Latour, and had managed several key operational aspects of the dining room and Wine Cellar. From 2006, she held the position of Sommelier for Restaurant Latour, and as of 2018 has been the Wine Director and is an invaluable asset to the Resort\u2019s culinary showcases.<\/p>\n
